Filed the elevator up stops. In the above image you can see how the elevator horns are not perfectly aligned. Each side of the stop is filed so that both horns contact the stop at the same time.
Just under the primer green aft HS spar, in the middle of the picture, you can see the filed elevator down stops. Since this is a QB fuselage they were difficult to access, having to install and de-install the elevators frequently to measure the travel and to make sure each horn hit at the same time.
