Had to do a fair amount of running the ends of the rudder pedal weldments across the scotchbrite pad to get the holes in the center piece to line up. Once that was accomplished I measured and the 15 1/4 inch outer edge to outer edge of the ground adjustable rudder pedal assembly was ready to go in. Be really careful to make sure the last (aft most) rivet in the angles lines up with the cross bulkhead you have to drill into. And of course on the 8A you have to take out a fair amount of material at the front so you have clearance for the rivet heads.
Still have a little bit more to do here but it was a good Saturday in the airplane factory. Tomorrow: NASCAR with Michelle and Brittany!
