Cut the slot for the tail light wire. Wire can stay centered while rudder moves side-to-side. Same as on the 7A I built.
Fixed the Whelen tail light mounting nuts into the rudder bottom fairing using flox. Screws are holding the nuts in place while epoxy sets.
I will glue this piece of fiberglass into place after trimming.
More sanding on the empennage fairing. It’s real close to being the shape I would like.
Sanded the Showplanes panel cover (top) and the rear seatback after a thin coating of epoxy was applied. These are ready for primer.
