Retrieved the hose assemblies from Herber this morning.  4 out of 5 were perfect.  One of them, the red cube to fuel servo, was completely wrong; wasn’t compression fitting, had a 90 where it should not have had one and was missing the integral fire sleeve.  No worries, they will have a new one ready tomorrow.  Still a good price so I’m definitely not complaining.

Right front looking across and aft – this is the fuel line from electric pump to mechanical pump.

Oil cooler line.  *Update* – I wanted to add a note about this oil line which runs from the back of the case to the oil cooler inlet.  I could have made a straight hose assembly 6 inches long and go direct from steel 90 to steel 90 but I was worried that there was no play or give in the line when the engine moves.  So I made the line 7.5 inches and added the flex you see here.  At approximately a 6″ radius bend it’s not too close to the 4″ radius minimum so it should flex ok.  The oil port on the back of the case is nearly in the middle of the engine so it should only rotate slightly and move in and out slightly.  That’s my theory.  If you know differently please speak up!

Mechanical fuel pump to red cube.  Also fuel pressure (no insulation), oil line and electric fuel pump to mechanical fuel pump hose.  Lots going on here.  It will get even more crowded when four cable runs are here; throttle, mixture, prop and alternate air.  Oil cooler duct and oil cooler are bolted in place.  I can’t run the 4″ sceet tubing until I start on the baffles.
