Sanded the VS tip after I had it slightly filled with flox. Came out nice. Need to fill the backside.
While I had the empennage attached I checked the HS up and down travel. I filed some off the stop but I still need 3 more degrees of up travel to get to the minimum amount. I should have done this earlier before I riveted it to the aft top deck (3 rivets in picture below stop).
