The filtered airbox was a pretty good fit but not perfect. I split it into two pieces and left only a half inch piece connecting the two halves then did a thin layup on the top portion to make the whole shebank a bit more rigid so I could start cutting. Here you can see where I intend to cut, marked in blue ink.
