The sample paint came and I did three samples to determine durability. The interior has a wash primer from the factory and so I wanted to see how much work was required to get a good finish. Three sample plates were made. One was cleaned with Acetone, another scuffed with a scothbrite pad then Acetone, and the last was scuffed, Acetoned and primered with the green spray can primer. We will see tomorrow which is best.
Worked on getting the panel fit.
To drill the side braces I clamped them while in place, removed and then drilled a single hole. Placed back into position and clamped again, removed and drilled the remaining holes.
