In preparation for engine hanging I making sure I have everything on the firewall completed. Inserted the AN connectors into the manifold using Fuel-Lube and mounted to the firewall using all-steel nuts. Everything on or forward of the firewall is all steel connectors/nuts.
Installed the steel oil pressure fitting which has the flow limiter.
Installed the fuel pressure restrictor onto the fuel pump. Not sure of the orientation of the fuel outlet. It may have to point forwards.
Removed screw clamps and installed steel spring clips to retain oil return lines. I ended up with 3/4″ clamps. I’m not sure if they have enough clamping pressure with the hose that came with the engine, which is very thick.
