After a couple conversations with Clint at Vetterman Exhaust it was decided that their new Trombone exhaust would be best for my application. In fact it’s the only one that will work properly with an A model, XP400 and Horizontal Induction with Superior sump. I sent him a check and I just received my package today, only a few weeks later. Pretty snappy build and ship if you ask me. Thanks Clint.
A bunch of things like wiring, fuel and power/mixture/prop runs depend upon where the exhausts are located. You can reroute those items but not the exhaust. That’s why I’ve been waiting on getting the exhaust installed before doing firewall forward wiring and cable runs. I’ll install these asap so I can move forward (firewall forward). I’ve removed most of the packing, the exhaust did not come like this all jumbled up.
