I shopped around for the best prices for my 5 oil and fuel lines. Herber Aircraft had the best prices by far so I placed my order. They are local so I can pick them up and save on shipping. Here’s what I ordered, all are AE466 stainless braided with integral (brown) firesleeve:
- Oil – 16.5″, -8, straight to 90, engine to oil cooler
- Oil – 7.5″, -8, straight to straight, oil cooler to engine
- Fuel – 15.125″, -6, straight to straight, electric fuel pump to mechanical fuel pump
- Fuel – 15.625″, -6, straight to straight, red cube to fuel servo
- Fuel – 13.25″, -6, straight to straight, mechanical fuel pump to red cube
The total was $423.32 for all five assemblies. That is a great price.
*UPDATE: Hose assemblies were ordered yesterday. Today I received a call from Herber Aircraft; my hoses are ready for pickup! Wow! That was very fast. I got the call but was unable to swing by El Segundo today so I’ll pick them up tomorrow morning.
