I was happy about the oil cooler installation with the exception of one thing; the front cross brace. It was just to thin. I remade it with 1/8″ thick aluminum angle. Now it doesn’t move vertically. Instead of nutplates on the aluminum angle which attach it to the front of the oil cooler I opted for plain old nuts on the bottom. There was very little room to get a socket wrench in there to get those out from the top. With nuts on the bottom it’s a snap.
I found the inlet ramps and the oil door.
