I placed a bead of electrical tape around the perimeter of the canopy so the flox doesn’t stick to the windscreen.
There is a gap at the front. As hard as I tried to get rid of this it seems like this is fairly normal. When the canopy is sitting on the frame for trimming it’s not squeezed inwards on the sides. When you finally drill it to the frame the canopy gets sucked in on the sides and the result is the front pops up about this high. Easily fixed with a thick bead of flox.
I laid up the flox while the canopy was on the airframe so that it’s in it’s final shape on the fuselage. First bead applied here.
