The PCU5000 prop governor needs the case studs to stick out 1 1/4 inches and unfortunately the studs that were already there were too short.  Ordered 4 new bolts for $75 bucks.  Yes, $75 bucks.  Turns out, they were exactly the same as the ones in the case after I removed those with the double nut and star washer technique.  Here is what I learned after a lot of digging around.  The case studs have threaded ends and one end has more threads than the other.  That longer threaded end goes into the case, snugly.  Apparently it’s cut slightly different and it’s a tight fit into the case, which is a good thing since the bolt holes go right through the side of the case and into the inner cavity.  You would not want any oil leaks.  If you don’t have enough thread sticking out then back the stud out until you have enough.  Make sure you have two times diameter of stud still in the case.  Use strong locktite.  Torque nuts to 110 to 150 in lbs.
