When I made the original shelf for the antennas under the cowl I wasn’t thinking far enough ahead. It was a poor location because the tray got in the way of being able to insert the top cowl aft hinge pins. Fabricated a sturdy little shelf made out of aluminum angle and clamped to the engine mount. This location is better than the last because the fuselage doesn’t interfere with shallow GPS angles. The teardrop shaped antenna is not bolted to the aft angle. I’ll just use a bit of RTV to keep it from vibrating.
