David came by and graciously lent some time getting the plane up on it’s gear.  I lifted the front end and placed it on top of some sawhorses and apple crates.  The tail end was hoisted.  It has to be lifted pretty high to get the gear installed.  All the gear leg to weldment/engine mount bolt holes were reamed and secured with a kit purchased a while back which has oversized bolts and paired reamer.  The bolts need some persuasion to be seated but they are never going to move.  Ready to hang the engine soon as pops shows up.

That’s a HD bucket with some quarts of oil in it tied to the engine mount to keep the tail up.
