The rudder bottom had a 6 inch hairline crack where the two halves join so I laid up a couple layers of BID and filled in a couple spots with micro.
Back-riveted the sides to the baggage floor and test fit it into the plane.
After I carefully set and tested all the controls I stuck the floors in temporarily just to make sure everything still fit properly. All the controls from bow to stern are mounted, bolted, tested and lacquered. I won’t rivet the floors on until after the wings are mounted.
Torqued all the bearing stop nuts and added lacquer on elevators and rudder.
Put together the hex flap pushrods – lengths to be adjusted when flaps are mounted.
