You countersink the fiberglass tips so that the dimpled skins of the HS and VS can nestle inside. Because the fiberglass is thin I added an aluminum strip on the back side of each row of pop rivets. Attached with a flox mixture and sanded the aluminum and fiberglass with 80 grit for adhesion.
