I mounted the battery box and did a static load test. While it held the 25 pounds just fine it flexes too much for my taste. I tried to get the battery out and it was no problem without removing the hinge pins. I’ll order another battery box from EarthX and mount it unmodified. Another $50 down the drain. Live and learn.
