Fabricated and mounted the top VS attach angle.<\/p>\n

I could not find anywhere on the plans where these two bolts were supposed to be. \u00a0I measured off the 1\/2 scale plans and used those dimensions.<\/p>\n

I used a 90 degree drill attachment and drilled the top two bottom holes through the aex wedge. \u00a0After doing so I measured where the bottom two holes will go and I don’t have good edge distance. \u00a0I have an early kit and the planes indicate locating the VS 8 1\/8 inches from the top of the angle (pic 1 above) to the top of the metal hinge brackets. \u00a0I’ll call Vans in the morning. \u00a0I imagine they will tell me to just drill the bottom two holes slightly higher and avoid the two pre drilled holes in the aex wedge\/tiedown.<\/p>\n
