I&#8217;m happy Superior is doing this but it still breaks my heart a little.  I had grown fond of that bruiser, even though it had never taken flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Took everything off the engine and hauled it up to their offices about 30 minutes away.  Got a nice tour of the facility while I was there.  My engine is now at Barrett where they will make an IO-390 out of it with a new crank, pistons, etc.  Reusing the case will allow me to reinstall with minimal fuss.
