some 5\/8 aluminum nuts and was able to achieve the best fit yet.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t see it but there is a ground down nut on the inside and outside of the aft bulkhead which keeps the antenna pointed nearly straight aft.\u00a0 There was *just* enough thread left to get the lock washer and nut on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tondu.com\/rv8a\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_1938.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2254\" src=\"http:\/\/tondu.com\/rv8a\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_1938-525x700.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"700\" additional weight of the required noise filter (seen above as the metal piece on the other side of the bulkhead) and the cable flopping around.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to need to tidy that
